Mining & dump trucks
NM400D/E, NM450D/E and NM500D/E are described for wide-body mining truck and dump-truck body plates.
Processing / Wear-Resistant Steel
NM360–NM600 wear-resistant steel plates for mining, construction machinery, coal machinery, port machinery and other demanding applications.
Why wear-resistant steel
Wear-resistant steel is used where repeated abrasion, impact or material handling can shorten the service life of ordinary structural plate. The supplied technical material covers a family from NM360 to NM600, with different hardness and strength levels for different working conditions.
Use this page as a technical starting point. Confirm the actual grade, thickness, application, processing method and documentation requirement with the project enquiry before purchase.
Values below are transcribed from the supplied wear-resistant steel product manual and should be confirmed against the final grade certificate and contract.
| Grade | Thickness / mm | Tensile strength / MPa | Elongation A50 / % | Impact / J | Hardness / HBW |

NM400D/E, NM450D/E and NM500D/E are described for wide-body mining truck and dump-truck body plates.
NM400 and NM450 are described for extra-thick structural liner plates, with a stated maximum supply thickness of 150 mm in the reference material.
NM360, NM400/NM400E and NM450 are described for middle trough and sealing-plate applications in coal machinery.
NM600 is described for ultra-high-strength wear conditions where replacing worn parts is costly.
Processing & Metallurgical Control
Fabrication and heat-treated processing protocols designed to preserve the core hardness and structural toughness of high-grade wear plates.
Multi-head CNC thermal cutting for heavy plates up to 150 mm thickness, integrated with strict preheating and slow cooling controls to eliminate edge micro-cracking.
Uniform through-thickness Brinell hardness in Quenched & Tempered (Q+T) delivery condition, providing exceptional abrasive wear resistance under harsh operating conditions.
Comprehensive weld preparation parameters, matching low-hydrogen consumables and controlled heat-input specifications to safeguard welded structural integrity.
Dedicated high-torque countersunk drilling, edge beveling and cold-bending capabilities engineered for direct replacement liners in heavy mining and cement equipment.
